Washington, D.C.

Nations Capital has been a very popular place to visit among the International students and always attracts huge interest. Starting July 13th, 2009 we are organizing daily trips to Washington, District of Columbia.  We normally leave early in the morning, and it takes around 3 hours to get to the destination. True historic places and world famous sightseeings are real attraction for the tourists from around the world. During the day we will be visiting following places:

  • Smithsonian  Museum of Natural History
  • U.S. Capitol/Supreme Court/ Library of Congress
  • Smithsonian Air and Space Museum – NASA / U.S. Botanic Gardens
  • Jefferson Memorial
  • FDR Memorial
  • Lincoln Memorial
  • National Museum of American History
  •  Washington Monument
  • FBI Museum
  • White House
  • National Archives/ U.S. Navy Memorial (optional)
  • National Geographic Museum
  • National Zoo (optional)
  • National Cathedral (optional)
  • Georgetown/ M Street / Georgetown University
  • Chinatown

After we are done touring, we depart Washington at 9 pm. And our comfortable Bus takes us back to Ocean City. Travel time on the way back is also 3 hours. The most interesting part of this tour beside the sightseeing is the Price.  We try to make it as much affordable as possible for Work & Travel students, because we understand how hard it is to save money during the summer. Trip includes round trip transportation and free access to most of the museums, and is certainly money well spent for the value.
